These Terms govern your use of Trouble Clef (the "Service"), operated by Harry Anastasiou ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
Trouble Clef lets you upload sheet music, transpose it to a different key, recognise chords from it, build blank manuscript/structure sheets, and create chord-only lead sheets (either by importing your own iReal Pro exports or typing chords in by hand), organised into a personal library and setlists.
Transposition and chord recognition are AI-assisted. They are not guaranteed to be accurate — always review the result before relying on it in performance.
You keep ownership of everything you upload or create. By uploading a score or importing a chart, you confirm that you own it, are licensed to use it, or otherwise have the right to have it transposed/processed for your own personal use.
Trouble Clef has a free tier and a paid subscription ("Pro"):
Pro subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand. You can cancel any time from Settings → Billing → Manage subscription — cancelling stops future renewals but doesn't refund the current period (see Refunds below). Prices may change with notice; continuing to use Pro after a price change takes effect means you accept the new price at your next renewal.
Because Pro gives immediate, unlimited access from the moment of payment, subscription charges are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started. If you believe you were charged in error, or you're a consumer entitled to a statutory cooling-off/cancellation right under the law of your country of residence, contact us at billing@trouble-clef.com and we'll deal with it fairly on a case-by-case basis.
You agree not to:
We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Features may be added, changed, or removed over time. We'll try to give notice of anything that materially reduces what your subscription includes.
The Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for inaccuracies in AI-assisted transposition or chord recognition. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited by law (for example, for fraud or death/personal injury caused by negligence).
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible.
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute — [CONFIRM: adjust if you incorporate elsewhere or want a different jurisdiction].
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be flagged in the app or by email before they take effect.
